I am an interdisciplinary researcher, with a background in applied mathematics. I completed my PhD in modelling infection and immunity in malaria in 2016. My research interests continue to be in infectious diseases of the developing world, with a special focus on malaria infection, treatment and immunity, and more recently COVID-19. I lead the Malaria Analytics Group at the Kirby Institute, and I hold an Early Career Research Fellow with the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). My research involves broad collaboration with experimental biologists, immunologists, and clinicians, both in Australia and internationally.
