Liza Doyle RN, MPH
International Training and Development Manager
Liza Doyle is a public health professional and International Training and Development Manager at the Kirby Institute UNSW Sydney. Liza has extensive experience leading and managing a range of health programs in the private, non-government and academic sectors, working in Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Fiji and Australia. With a strong interest in the prevention and management of infectious diseases, Liza’s work focuses on strengthening regional capacity and global health partnerships to improve health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries.
Liza is the Program Director of the IndoPacLab program, an international led consortium focused on strengthening laboratory and diagnostic capacity in the Indo Pacific region. She oversees several other complex global health projects at the Kirby Institute and is a member of the Kirby’s Strategic Advisory Committee.
Immediately prior to joining the Kirby Institute, Liza was the Division Manager of National Policy & Education at ASHM. She was responsible for the management and development of Australian HIV and STI clinical guidelines, National HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Testing Policies, clinical resources and accredited health care programs. Liza lived and worked in the Asia Pacific region for 5 years, completed her MPH (International Health major) at Monash University and started her career as a registered nurse at St Vincent’s public hospital in Melbourne.
