Louise Ellis is a Senior Project Officer within the Asia and Pacific Health Program at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney. Louise is a registered nurse with diverse clinical experience in tertiary hospital settings and over five years of public health program management experience across Australia and the Pacific. Louise supports the cervical cancer elimination program of work led by Professor Andrew Vallely and Vanessa Price in the Asia and Pacific Health Program, specifically:
- The Advancing Cervical Cancer Elimination in the Pacific program (AdvanCE), which builds on and aligns with existing development partner and philanthropic investments in our region to provide human papillomavirus (HPV) based cervical screening and treatment to 130,000 women in seven countries: Fiji, Kiribati, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu.
Louise is the Country Lead supporting cervical cancer screen and treat programs in Fiji, Kiribati, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
