Michael Cecilio is a Project Manager in the Surveillance, Evaluation and Research Program at the Kirby Institute. He currently works on the evaluation for the MyCheck telehealth demonstration project as well as the acceptability evaluation for the GRAND II Study.
Michael has a Master of Public Health and Certificate in Sexuality, Sexual and Reproductive Health from Columbia University. His previous experience includes roles in research, evaluation, management, strategic planning, policy development, epidemiology and community engagement across NSW Ministry of Health, Northern NSW Local Health District, St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, Mental Health Commission of NSW, NSW Department of Education and AIDS Committee of Ottawa (Canada). He currently also holds roles as Director & Principal Consultant for MECG Consulting and Project Manager - It's Healthy to Fight Modern Slavery for the Office of the NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner.
